Ground Spacing (Pixel Resolution)
Digital photographs are made up of small squares of color called pixels. Pixel
resolution, or ground spacing, refers to the "real world" dimension represented
by each pixel.
This ortho has a 3" ground spacing, each pixel represents
approximately 3" of what was photographed.

Things to remember:
- Resolution is determined by scanning and negative scale or for direct digital collection the sensors capabilities and the flying height above the ground
- Higher resolution will produce a sharper image
- The higher the resolution the larger the file
- Accuracy is determined by the map used for the ortho rectification
